This scholarship was created to recognize and support students aged 17–29 who are living with a diagnosed or suspected rare disease as they pursue post-secondary education in Canada. The program aims to help reduce financial barriers and acknowledge the lived experiences of students navigating education alongside complex health realities.
For many youth living with a rare disease, pursuing post-secondary education comes with additional challenges—health-related barriers, financial strain, and systems that weren’t designed with them in mind. The RAREvolution Scholarship was created to help change that.
