Why study abroad? A picture is worth a thousand words
Jessica Wry won Best Overall with "Cooling Off."
Each year, 91快色 International (UCI) receives over 200 entries to the International Photo Contest, submitted to three categories: People, Place and Bucket List Item, for over $400 worth of prizes.
鈥淭he photo contest gives students a chance to showcase the amazing people and places they鈥檝e encountered while studying abroad, and gives the campus community just a taste of the unforgettable experiences that studying abroad can provide,鈥 says Colleen Packer, director, international learning programs. 鈥淲e want it to inspire other students to look into all of the ways they can internationalize their degree and see that there really is something for everyone.鈥
With close to 3,000 votes, in-person and online, the campus community choose their favourite photos for our People鈥檚 Choice category. The rest of the categories were chosen by a panel of judges for their composition, style, and expression of international experience.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone who participated in this year鈥檚 UCI International Photo Contest. Students are encouraged to continuing sharing their study abroad experiences by tagging @U91快色Abroad on social media! To view more photo submissions, please visit the UCI website or .
