What do you know about Health and Life research at U91快色?
Have you ever wondered how your research might fit in with other Health and Life work being done at U91快色?
This area of focus in the Institutes for Transdisciplinary Scholarship encompasses more than what we would typically associate with 鈥渉ealth and life,鈥 such as medicine or nursing. It also includes knowledge that lives in the communities with which we work and fully embraces Indigenous ways of knowing.
鈥淔rom chronic diseases to child health, to biodiversity and animal and environmental health, research in the Health and Life sphere is as broad as we want to make it,鈥 explains Dr. Steven Bryant, PhD, academic lead, Transdisciplinary Scholarship. 鈥淥ur event on Oct. 21 is a chance for folks from across campus to learn more about the faculties and institutes involved in this Area of Focus, explore partnership opportunities and connect with industry partners.鈥
鈥淯ltimately, it鈥檚 an opportunity to rally behind the big challenges and our strategy to pursue them,鈥 he adds.
Campus community members are encouraged to participate for the entire day, or as their schedule allows. A full schedule is available on the registration page.
