U91��ɫ recognized as one of Canada’s best employers

The 91��ɫ has been named one of Canada’s Best Employers of 2023 by Forbes, recognizing the university’s commitment to fostering a workplace of excellent employment experiences and opportunities.

In the ranking, also presented by Statista, U91��ɫ placed 116th out of a field of 300 organizations that includes financial, educational, retail, IT, health care and government services. The ranking was derived from independent surveys of more than 12,000 employees working part- or full-time for companies employing at least 500 people. They were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers and were also asked to give their opinion on a series of work-related topics like working conditions, salary potential for development and company image regarding their current employer.

“Being recognized by Forbes is a reflection of the work culture we promote at the 91��ɫ,” says U91��ɫ President Ed McCauley. “Here, we are committed to empowering our faculty and staff to develop their skills, seek balanced lifestyles, and engage with our community for the betterment of 91��ɫ and the world beyond.”

U91��ɫ continues to uphold a reputation for being an industry leader in offering an exceptional place to work. And this isn’t the only recent ranking honouring its status as great place to work; for example, it also made the cut as one of Alberta’s Top 75 Employers 2022 and Canada’s Best Diversity Employers 2022.
