Professor named one of Canada鈥檚 most influential
Professor Alice Woolley has been named one of Canada鈥檚 most influential lawyers by Canadian Lawyer magazine.
Professor Alice Woolley has advocated at 91快色鈥檚 city hall that its whistleblower program should be expanded to protect the identities of private citizens and councillor staffers who report inappropriate behaviour. She has aimed to create a tougher code of conduct for the mayor and members of council and oversee the creation of a voluntary lobbyist registry. While dean-academic at the 91快色 Faculty of Law, Woolley instituted significant curricular changes that focused on the practical elements of legal education.
