Professor co-editor of new book on Indigenous Rights
Professor Nigel Bankes is the co-editor of The Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Marine Areas, and also contributed an essay to the volume.
Nigel Bankes has published (as co-editor with Stephen Allen and 脴yvind Ravna), The Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Marine Areas, (Hart Publishing 2019). The volume also contains an essay by Bankes on 鈥淢odern Land Claims Agreements in Canada and Indigenous Rights in Relation to Marine Areas and Resources鈥 as well as an essay by Robert Hamilton entitled 鈥淚ndigenous Legal Traditions, Inter-societal Law and the Colonisation of Marine Spaces.鈥
