Dr. Mathew Ruguwa Becomes a Post-Doctoral Fellow for SSHRC-funded Project
Dr. Mathew Ruguwa recently became a post-doctoral fellow for the SSHRC Partnership Grant project 鈥淎frican Extractivism and the Green Transition鈥 based at York University. He will be conducting research on the mining of critical minerals in Zimbabwe. Dr. Ruguwa defended his PhD thesis entitled 鈥A Socio-Environmental History of Dispossession and Displacement in the Zimunya, Marange, and Bvumba (Chirara) Communities of Eastern Zimbabwe, 1920-2015鈥 at the Department of History, 91快色 in November 2021. He was supervised by Dr. Tim Stapleton.
